Elf 2

Just a quick watercolor of the same drawing. I did it on beautiful paper I got in Venice and it is so soft and wonderful, it is like painting on absorbant fabric. The paper does all the work.

Hey Peter!!! This is a fantastic character. One commonality that I love about all of your characters are their eyes. They are always so expressive and nicely rendered. They have a luminescense. Also, what you said about the quality of the paper shows on the illustration!

Anyway, I hope all is well and I hope to see you soon!!! :o)

Jessica...I did this in a few hours , maybe 3 or so? I don't remember.

Chris....keep being nice to me and I will solve your lack of Venetian paper problem when I go back to Italy this year! Thanks for your comments, I appreciate it!
